Can You Help?

With increasing costs and government stimulus money depleted, our classrooms are hurting for new supplies and equipment. We were blessed to receive a grant several years ago that allowed us to add needed items to our classrooms.  Unfortunately, most of the equipment and learning materials are now worn out and unusable.

One of the many signs of a high quality program is a well equipped classroom with developmentally appropriate toys and learning materials that will challenge children in all areas of their development (i.e. cognitive, social, emotional, and physical).  We'd love to have the money in the budge to replace and add to our collection of teaching materials, equipment and toys, but sadly, this is not a reality in today's world.  Would you be willing to help?

The teachers have requested a few items for their classrooms that they think would enhance the learning environment and then have found their items on Amazon.  These items are pictured below along with the link to Amazon. There are several ways you can help.

Ways You Can Help

  • Purchase an item directly through the links below, have the item shipped to you or to Storyland.  When a person clicks on the link, it takes them directly to the item on Amazon where a purchase can be made.  Storyland receives a very tiny commission in addition to the item, so donating this way helps us in more than one way.

  • Donate money towards the purchase of a larger item.  If you would rather make a cash donation, you can add it to your tuition payment.  If you decide to do it this way, please make a note to us, letting us know which item you want your donation to be credited to along with the amount of the donation.

  • You may purchase a similar item at a local store and donate it directly to the school.  Please let Heather know which item(s) you are donating and for which classroom.

  • We also have a written wish list of needed items that can be donated.  Most of the items on the list are recyclables or old toys and books that your child no longer needs. Download a copy of our wish list.

As always, we sincerely thank you for your help.  It is and has always been Storyland's great privilege to have wonderful parents who care deeply about their children's welfare and educational needs. Together, parents, teachers, and administrators make a winning team where children thrive, grow and succeed. Thank you for your support.
